Facial Acupuncture — also known as Cosmetic Acupuncture or the 'Acupuncture Facelift' — is a natural, holistic approach to skin rejuvenation that has been used in China for centuries. What to expect

Your first session begins with a full constitutional assessment — Shujuan will take a detailed health history and assess your skin concerns, lifestyle, and overall health using traditional TCM diagnostic methods including pulse and tongue examination. This ensures the treatment addresses both your cosmetic goals and any underlying health imbalances. Ultra-fine needles are then placed at carefully selected points on the face — targeting fine lines, areas of laxity, and points that improve local circulation and muscle tone — as well as constitutional body points to support the treatment from within. Most clients are surprised by how comfortable and relaxing the experience is; the facial needles are extremely fine and cause minimal sensation. You will rest with the needles in place for 20–30 minutes. Many clients drift into a deeply relaxed state during this time. After the needles are removed, Shujuan may apply a soothing facial massage or gua sha to enhance the treatment. Most clients notice an immediate improvement in skin radiance after their first session, with cumulative improvements building over the course of treatment.
